Cadenhead Glentauchers-Glenlivet 14 Year Old (750ml)

From this Speyside distillery located on the outskirts of Keith, this whisky was matured in a combination of a sherry butt and bourbon firkins. This bottling is sweet, light and fruity with notes of pears and peaches accompanying the ice cream with chocolate elements. There are wine notes in this one, with a finish that is both rich and warming. We know this bottling appeals to a wide range of dram drinkers.

Glentauchers’ spirit has a long history of making its way into blends but this gives independent bottlers the perfect opportunity to be involved in sharing the flowery aroma of ‘Tauchers with the world.

Sitting in Mulben, Moray, the distillery has consistently produced a light spirit throughout its history, even though it has been known to fall foul of relatively fallow periods for the whisky industry but, despite occasional ups and downs, it is still around today and we are very glad it is.
