Commercial Description:

Three Citrus is Merlet’s reinterpretation of the traditional orange liquor: triple sec. For this, the Merlet family has collaborated with one of the greatest bartenders in the world, Tony Conigliaro, to create a perfect product for use in cocktails. Three Citrus combines three citrus varieties: bitter orange, blood orange and lemon. The peels of each citrus fruit are macerated separately in a fine alcohol and then distilled for the most part. The distillates obtained are then assembled, as well as the undistilled macerations. Finally sugar is added to obtain the final liquor, but at a minimal rate. The different citrus fruits offer a unique complexity, and the low sugar content makes it possible to make dry cocktails, even use as basic spirits thanks to the high degree of alcohol. The bitter touch of undistilled macerations reinforces the length and dryness of the tasting.

Merlet Three Citrus is an ideal ingredient for all classic cocktails such as Margarita, Sidecar or Cosmopolitan.

TASTING NOTES

Color: An almost transparent color and yet with a noticeably silvery hue.

Palate: Clear aromas of orange zest, appreciably peppery. A very generous body with sweet and fruity notes. A multidimensional finish of orange and custard.
